ABOUT
Hey there!
I’ve been designing brands and digital experiences for 15+ years, and honestly I’ve never been particularly interested in putting design into neat little boxes.
I started as a graphic designer and after graduating I founded my own remote design studio, Anatomia Branding and Design, at 23, working with local and international clients for seven years.
From there, I moved into agency life, working with high-profile brands before relocating to the Netherlands and leading UX UI design at a digital agency.
Somewhere along the way, I became particularly good at making sense of messy things: untangling complex ideas, spotting what’s not working, asking the questions that need asking, and turning all of that into experiences that are clear, intuitive, and visually considered; made for humans.
Today, I work independently from Amsterdam, bringing together strategy, brand, and UX/UI design. I’m happiest when there’s something to figure out rather than simply something to execute: especially when there’s room to question, explore, and rethink the obvious.
If you have something interesting to untangle, or a vision you want to bring to life, let’s talk!

Beyond design
When I’m not working on UX/UI projects, you’ll probably find me somewhere in Amsterdam with an iPad and Apple Pencil, wandering through a museum, hiding in a cosy café, or working on the next print.
I’ve had a pencil in my hand for as long as I can remember. Drawing has always been a way for me to think, explore ideas, and make sense of things. My love for art and art history eventually grew into a parallel practice as an artist and illustrator, with digital art becoming my natural medium.
Want to see what happens when I step away from the screen? My online shop is coming soon 🩷 In the meantime, you can find some of my work on: www.instagram.com/meliseflores
